CAPACITY-BUILDING PROGRAMs
About: These programs are designed to complement and enhance the knowledge and skill-sets of professionals in the general areas of children’s, family and community mental health. The targeted learning opportunities provide the audience with contextually and clinically relevant information and first-hand experience of how skills and techniques that may be incorporated into the professional services they provide. These intensive workshops and training program use instructor-led techniques as an efficient method for presenting a large body of material and combine interactive and experiential learning techniques to engage the audience in the course content.
Curriculum: These programs may cover a range of topics, are available as, for example, workshops, trainings, and talks and seminars. The curriculum is adaptable to target diverse audiences and a wide range of knowledge- and skill-levels.
Audience and Environment: The facilitation services are most suitable for small, medium or large groups of various professionals in the general fields of children’s and community mental health and the human and social services. The programs may be delivered in-clinic, on-site, or in the community.
Delivery Method: All programming is delivered in-person, and may be adaptable to the following formats and intensities: Single Session (1-hour to full day), Multi-Session, Intensive 1- and 2-day Program, and Comprehensive Program Series (with follow-up consultation sessions upon request).
