SKILLS-Building Programs

About: These targeted programs provide participants an opportunity to learn and practice specific, practical skills, and to gain a clear understanding of the underlying concepts and principles. The programs blend traditional instructor-led training techniques with many experiential and interactive methods including: multimedia, videos, role-play, demonstrations, and exercises. Time is reserved for group discussions and debriefing periods after participants practice skills, to provide participants with the opportunity to share their experiences and to identify and address any barriers to learning.
